Wal-Mart's First Smart Supermarket Opened

Wal-Mart opened its first smart store "Hui Xuan" supermarket in Xin'an Wu Road, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. The trial operation was conducted on March 29 and officially opened in Shenzhen on April 6.

The store has a business area of about 1200 square meters, more than 8,000 kinds of goods are sold, among which more than 7,000 kinds of goods are sent to Jingdong home at the same time. The fastest delivery time is within 29 minutes within 2 kilometers. The fastest order delivery time on the first day of trial is less than 10 minutes, and it hits a record. Jingdong home single store opening day orders the highest record.

The shop also provided customers with the WeChat applet “Swama purchase” and the “sweeping horse purchase”, “Swama purchase”, self-service cash registers and Jingdong home orders accounted for more than 50% of the first day's trading volume.
